Chapter Overview


February 10, 2010 will mark the beginning of the 65th year since the chartering of Buffalo Alumni Chapter. At an organizational meeting held at Dan Montgomery's Restaurant located on Exchange Street, in the city of Buffalo, NY, Grand Polemarch, the Honorable, August Parker, presented the Chapter Charter.

Since being charted, the brothers of the Buffalo Alumni Chapter both individually and collectively have participated in and have supported various local causes and efforts that have been directed towards assisting African Americans with an emphasis on young men, to “Achieve” a better quality of life for themselves through education. Also, chapter members have been involved in many local civic, radical justice, and educational activities of organizations such as the NAACP, the Buffalo Urban League, the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the Buffalo Boys Club, Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME), the Community Action Organization of Erie County, Inc. (CAO), Cora P. Maloney College-University of Buffalo, and the Buffalo Bills Alumni Foundation.


Brother William Bobo is the present Chapter Polemarch.
